After Receiving Final Decision
- Once the article has been accepted for publication, the submitting author needs to submit the Copyright Form in the ScholarOne system.
- No changes can be made after the article has been accepted by the Chief Editor/Deputy Chief Editor.
- The Production Editor will assign the article to a batch, depending on the publication queue.
- The Production Editor will create a production file, which contains both the Title Page and Main Document, ensuring that the articles adhere to the journal’s format.
- The payment request will be sent to the corresponding author via email two months before publication. USD300 will be charged for each article, and there is strictly no discount/waiver policy.
- Only paid articles proceed to the language editing process.
- After the language editing has been completed, the articles will undergo a layout process by the typesetter.
- The publisher will handle the proofreading process, including amendments by the typesetter based on the proofreader’s comments.
- The author will receive the Galley Proof and given three days for response. Galley Proof submitted after the due date would not be considered.
- The typesetter will make amendments based on the Galley Proof reviewed by the author.
- After that, the articles will undergo a final quality control (QC) process by the Deputy Director of UMT Press.
- The final draft of the article will be published on the website after the typesetter has made amendments based on the final quality control comments.
- The DOI number will be activated.
- Scopus indexes the article within two to four weeks.
